I've been looking for a dog trainer for my dog for quite some time. My main requirement was that it needed to be a trainer that could come to my home and physically be present to help me learn how to train my dog. I was really hesitant to bring BarkBuster on board due to the fact they didn't have a trainer in my area. I'm glad I took a leap of faith and hired Karen to be my dog's trainer. She's been been great and very communicative since day one. I've noticed huge improvements in my dog's behavior since working with Karen and highly recommend BarkBuster to anyone looking for a trainer.

I recently retired my service dog and got a new pup in the hopes of training him to step into the large job Tobo left behind in his retirement. It quickly became clear that I would need help curbing some bad behaviors in Blaidd before any consideration of service dog training could be made. Karen has been an incredible guiding force, through both good times and stressful recovery from surgery. I went through many attempts to find a decent training program and the life long program gives me confidence that should any issues arise, I have a willing and helping hand from BarkBusters. We asked alot from Marc and Bark Busters. Mr. Magoo is a great dog and one who we know wants to follow the rules. We just needed to learn how to be good leaders and how to 'speak dog'. We had engaged in basic obedience training with Mr. Magoo, both in person and online, and achieved some successes but still struggled with issues such as barking at and charging the door, maintaining a sit/down position and other issues that we really needed to correct. We couldn't be more pleased with the progress we made with Mr. Magoo in just a few short hours and we are confident that we now have the tools to continue this great journey toward achieving the goal of having a well behaved dog. I have been working with Karen virtually to help train my puppy and I have been so thrilled with the results. I was a little apprehensive to do virtual sessions, but it ended up being the perfect solution for us. I know that my dog is responding to me instead of Karen and being the one to do the exercises during sessions has allowed me to be a more confident leader with my dog. We saw an almost immediate improvement in our puppy after our first virtual session with Karen. We have been working on jumping on furniture, counter surfing, separation anxiety, etc and have seen huge improvements and success. The leash training exercises have even allowed me to take more peaceful walks with my dog, which is something both me and my dog appreciate. Marc came out last minute and very quickly taught us why our old style of communication wasn't working, and how to communicate in a way our pups could understand and respond to. The change in their behavior was immediate! In just 3 days (with lots of practice) we have noticed a huge difference in their leash reactivity, space claiming, and whining. They heel automatically, with little to no prompting from us (which blows my mind LOL). Stanlee isn't lunging and Josie's anxiety is almost gone! We know it will take time and consistency, but investing in this training was the best thing we could have done for our pups and for us! Can't wait to take them on all of our camping adventures with us! Thanks Marc and Bark Busters for giving us the tools to have the relationship with our dogs that we've always wanted!

We rescued Rico last October. He was off the streets of Miami and in pretty bad shape. Thanks to the kindness of two strangers he was brought to Paws Fur Recovery and Lori Boettger who took great care of him, nursing back to health. It took Rico some time to adjust to being a family member for the first time in his young life. He was obviously intelligent and a playful goofball but as he became more comfortable in our home he started displaying fear aggression and he acted out in negative ways. We tried several training tactics over the last few months but nothing really curbed the reactiveness. As a last resort we contacted Bark Busters Treasure Coast & Boca Raton. As others have commented, the change in behavior was immediate and profound. Marc made it so clear that when you communicate to dogs on their level, which is to say, what is hardwired into their DNA from millennia ago, they almost have no choice but to comply. Karen was awesome! She had Zeus listening and obeying within minutes! After dinner last night, he was right at the dishwasher to do his usual licking and after doing what we were taught he walked away. First visitor to the house this morning and no jumping or nipping! My wife and I are floored and ecstatic. Marc came to our house and helped us work with our 2 rottweilers,one of which has aggression issues. In a simple effective manner Marc taught us methods to change our dog's behaviors. We saw a change right in front of our eyes and I was skeptical because I have been to many trainers. Not only did we see a dramatic change in behavior in the first session the dog's continued the next day so WE were able to easily produce the same results! Wonderful experience with Marc and our two dogs. I saw immediate improvement in their ability to listen and respect us as the Alphas of the house. The training methods are easy to follow and we are actually enjoying implementing them into our lives. Anxiety was a huge problem with both our dogs and after just one session they seemed much more relaxed and content. Four goldens, ages 1-7, the oldest was rescued because his owners couldn’t ‘handle’ him ... needless to say, I was a skeptic. After one session with Marc and Karen, I am back in control of my home. The goldens responded as if they had been waiting their whole lives to understand me. It’s been only 2 days and these guys are so obedient now!! No more pushing, pulling, yelling or crying! I’m posting two pictures... one of my laundry room that I ‘claimed’ ... you will see two goldens calmly waiting behind my invisible line for me to finish my work. The other is of my kitchen that I also ‘claimed’ ... when I opened the trash drawer, the old golden moved in, so I claimed that as well! I couldn’t be happier! OMG I never in a million years thought I was going to be able to train my dog, thinking he was already 4 years old and extremely misbehaved I had little to no hope. I read a lot of reviews about Bark Busters... a lot!!! For days!!! and finally decided to give them a try... it is money back guaranteed if you don’t see it working for you on your first 3 hour visit... so why not... right? I first met with Karen, for a 3 hour initial visit that went very well, still a little skeptical i did feel it could possibly work and just decided to apply all the lessons learned and follow instructions given by Karen. If you don’t do this repeatedly with your dog it will never work! Is like everything... practice makes perfect! A few months after I started noticing my dog’s behavior was improving... little by little but I kept practicing with him and teaching him that I am the alpha in the house (and not him)! A few months after I moved to a new house with my boyfriend so I called Bark Busters again to come meet us both with my dog Bruno at the new place, this time Mark came down to see us. It’s been about a year after the first training and every single person that knew my crazy dog says he is a totally different dog now, he obeys now!!!! I open the door of my house and he doesn’t go running out which was my biggest fear before because one time i almost lost him!! I open the door now and he stays right next to me, he listens and follows instructions... Crazy!!! This investment was worth every penny!! Karen and Mark are wonderful. They opened a new world of communication between us and our precious Dasher, our one year old Boston Terrier. Dasher became very challenging at seven months old, not listening to us and we were at our wits end. Maizy is a 16 month goldendoodle & Bentley is a 9 week Bernedoodle! Bentley will eventually be trained to be my daughter's emotional support dog, but first we have to get Maizy under control, so Bentley will start off on the right path!

Marc & Karen came into our home with such a positive & warm energy. What they were able to teach us in just a few hours will change our world forever! Gotta see this. Check out Bark Busters for specialized dog training. It is truly like a dog whisperer thing. AMAZING. It works instantly depending on the dog's mannerisms. We are trained immediately to be the leader of the dog.

They are in many countries. They started years ago in Australia. They are just about everywhere in this country.

Gotta problem? So worth the experience. It is practiced every day for the rest of the dogs life. Essential. If biting is one problem, this is the way to go.

Marc with Bark Busters and his program was amazing with our dog Niko!! Niko has always been a sweet dog but has had numerous behavior problems with recognizing us as the leaders of the house. Especially when it came to disciplining him when he was bad and he would just growl at us and snap his teeth in defiance.

After a few hours with Marc, Niko instantly improved on being walked with a leash and not walking ahead, also being called to sit next to me and not move. These exercises and more condition the dog to recognize our alpha position over him. What’s more, last night he jumped on the couch after he had a bath and laid on there (full knowing that was bad) and I got on his case and disciplined him like I usually do. But this time....NO growing back or snapping his teeth! We didn’t even train that part with him but he KNEW where his place was and he just sat there and listened. My wife and I couldn’t believe it!

Marc and his program has worked beyond ourexpectation and know he will be able to further train him in other areas using this system. And we know we can rely on Marc coming over to help us again if we ever need the help. Very much worth the money! Thank you again!!

I can't tell you how grateful we are that Marc came into our home and taught us how to communicate with our dogs, especially our oldest one Bear. Bear used to jump, charge the door, bark at guests, etc. Now that we can communicate he's almost an entirely different dog.
